Hendersons will provide you with your own Business Development Manager, who will be on hand to offer you face to face advice and guidance on everything involved in driving retail sales and margin.

The Henderson’s Marketing package is a varied mix of television, radio and outdoor campaigns, as well as national and local leaflets. In addition retailers are provided with an excellent point of sale marketing package, providing POS solutions, and trade press as well as consumer and retailer PR.

3. PR Support

Henderson’s PR department will be on hand to offer you guidance and support on how to promote events in your local area such as news from local charities, clubs and sports days. 

4. Retail Services Support

The Group’s Retail Services department specialise in ensuring retailers have the best layout for their store.  They are always on hand to offer you free advice and guidance whenever your business needs it.

5. Transport

Based on your business requirements, Henderson’s are able to offer you a 24hr lead time on deliveries up to six days a week. This reduces order times and cuts out the guesswork for sensitive categories such as fresh allowing you to react quicker to customer trends and changes in the weather.

6. I.T Support

Your store can be integrated into Henderson’s cutting edge IT system, which has been designed by Retailers for Retailers. IT is an internal department within the Henderson Group, which not only designs the software and back of house systems, but also offers training. The IT helpline is available 24/7to answer any concerns or issues you might have.

7. Central Warehouse

We can give you access to over 6,000 lines across ambient, chilled and frozen, via our massive head office warehousing facilities in Mallusk. SPAR Retailers can also access the vast array of product lines available via Henderson Foodservice, one of the largest suppliers to the catering trade in NI.

Having thousands of these products housed in one central location in Northern Ireland allows for fast and smooth distribution to your stores.

8. Packages

The Henderson Group offers its retailers the opportunity to avail from a comprehensive suite of training courses through its in-house training scheme – “The Academy.” 

The Academy provides store owners with the opportunity to equip their staff with the skills and confidence to efficiently perform their roles. Courses range from customer service, food safety, health and safety to personal development, plus much more.

9. Business Development Induction Manager

At the Henderson Group ‘Fresh’ is important! At present over 75% of fresh is produce picked, packed and produced on the island of Ireland, yet its success at store level relies on quality and good first impressions.
