The team at Brennan’s SPAR Seaforde recently held a family fun day in aid of local charity, Marie Curie.

The team invited the local community to enjoy tea, coffee and sweet treats, as well as spin biking, a wet sponge challenge and football games, raising £2,003 for the charity.

Just last year, the team from Brennan’s SPAR contributed a significant amount of fundraising towards a NI-wide total of over £1M from SPAR NI to Marie Curie NI.

The partnership between SPAR NI and Marie Curie NI has been active since 2017 and has seen Brennan’s SPAR put its full support behind some of Marie Curie’s biggest and most iconic campaigns, including The Great Daffodil Appeal and Blooming Great Tea Party, while also running their own fundraising initiatives and events in-store to become one of the top SPAR fundraisers in NI.

Conor McKibbin, store owner, commented, “Many members of our team here at Brennan’s SPAR have experienced the amazing support and wonderful work of the charity personally, so it’s important to us all to put so much time and effort into our fundraising for Marie Curie. We have been supporting Marie Curie for years now and will continue to organise our events, coffee mornings and annual fun days to show our gratitude for such a worthy cause that has helped so many.”
