SPAR NI has lifted the lid on the secret recipes used to create their mouthwatering The Kitchen range, at a recent event hosted by Chef Carl Johannesson.

A select group of foodie and family influencers donned their aprons and cooked along with Chef Carl as he shared the recipes to create two of his favourite dishes from SPAR NI’s The Kitchen range; beef meatballs with penne, sunblushed tomatoes, mascarpone and basil and Chicken katsu curry with rice.

Award-winning Chef Carl and his team have crafted The Kitchen range in Northern Ireland using ingredients sourced from only the best producers. The range of nearly 100 main meals, sides and desserts has been designed specifically to suit shoppers who want the convenience of straight to oven food, all available at over 500 SPAR and EUROSPAR stores in Northern Ireland.

Chef Carl commented; “We know our shoppers have been calling out for meal inspiration that doesn’t break the bank and requires little effort! Recent research has revealed 56% of shoppers are bored of the meals they serve, with 83% of consumers turning to pre-prepared meals when they don’t feel like cooking.
