Each store has an Automated External Defibrillator installed outside the store, providing community access 24/7 and all are registered with The Circuit and the NI Ambulance Service.
Henderson Retail continues to invest in sustainable builds and business practices throughout its stores and operations, with solar panelling installed at 42 sites so far, equating to the reduction of around 320 tonnes of carbon. Fridge door trials across select stores showed a reduction of imported electricity of 16%, allowing the trial to roll out across even more stores. It will amount to a saving of 186 tonnes of carbon per year.
