Community store bake sale raises over £800 for local charity

The team at EUROSPAR Maghaberry recently held a bake sale in store, in aid of local charity, Northern Ireland Chest, Heart & Stroke (NICHS).

The store raised £835 which will go such a long way in helping the charity continue their amazing work for families across Northern Ireland.

Lesley Duckworth, Community Representative at EUROSPAR Maghaberry commented, “We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our shoppers, our team, their families and many of our local suppliers who donated products for the bake sale. We thoroughly enjoyed selling cakes, buns and sweet treats in exchange for a donation for such a vital charity. It was especially rewarding to engage with shoppers and listen to stories of why NICHS is close to their hearts, and how the charity has helped them and their families.
