Community store continues support for local school with sweet treats for Christmas celebrations

The team at SPAR Islandmagee supported Islandmagee Primary School’s Christmas celebrations in a very sweet way recently, donating 250 chocolate bars for their Winter Wonderland event.

The store has been supporting the school for over 40 years, by donating water and fruit for sports days, confectionary for tuck shops, and more recently, by donating shower gel and deodorant to P6 and P7 pupils during their Healthy Body and Mind sessions.

Gary Caldwell, store owner of SPAR Islandmagee commented, “It’s important to us at the store to show support to our local community and we were delighted to be able to provide treats for the school’s Winter Wonderland event. Leftover treats from the event will be donated to the Islandmagee Community Garden Christmas event, which is another great evening of festive fun.”
