Community store team show support to local fundraiser

The team at EUROSPAR Newcastle Road recently showed support to Newry local, Nathan Pierson for his latest fundraising challenge.

Nathan is celebrating ten years of fundraising and recently launched his new challenge to raise £20,000 for Angel Wishes NI and reach a new overall fundraising target of £100,000.

Over the last decade, Nathan has raised over £80,700 for a number of local charities including the Mourne Mountain Rescue Team and Air Ambulance NI.

Angel Wishes NI supports children with cancer related conditions, providing support with education, family days out and financial support.

The store welcomed Nathan to hold instore bucket collections and have a raffle table to help him kick start fundraising to reach his new goal. The instore events raised £465.42, thanks to generous store staff and shoppers.
