EUROSPAR Ballyhackamore has celebrated the recent completion of its renovation with a series of community partnerships and fundraising for local charities.

Alongside a host of improved products and services for the local community, the supermarket has fundraised and sponsored a number of local groups and organisations, led by the store’s Community Champion, Jacquie Downing.

A selection of the staff put their running shoes on and took part in the Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon, raising vital finds for TinyLife. The store also made a number of generous donations including to the local Food Larder, a lifeline for families in these uncertain times.

The team have taken some time outside of the store to spend their day with the staff and residents of the local fold, treating them to a visit from an ice cream van. They also took part in a litter pick around Orangefield Park.

Jacquie commented, “It is so important to the whole team here at EUROSPAR Ballyhackamore to show support to our local groups and organisations. It’s great to know that we are making a difference to the lives of those who live and work within the community and we aim to continue this support in every way we can.”

The recent renovation will allow the store to improve shoppers’ experience and continue offering their unrivalled services within the local area.

Being central to the community, the store provides shoppers with essential and vital value deals on everything from a coffee before work to filling their trolleys for Tonight’s Tea, thanks to initiatives such as Mega Deals and Tesco Price Match, where over 1000 big brand products prices are matched to those in Tesco.

In addition to the Daily Deli and instore Subway, Ballyhackamore are welcoming a brand-new butchery range of all locally sourced products; Stanleys, as well as an extension to their fresh range and additional self-checkouts.
