County Antrim stores raise over £3,000 for Autism NI
Twelve County Antrim based SPAR stores have raised over £3,000 for local charity, Autism NI.
Autism NI is Northern Ireland’s longest serving autism charity, providing life changing services to thousands of autistic people and their families across the country.
The teams from each store took part in a number of different fundraising activities including instore collections and turning the stores blue, the charity’s signature colour, for the day in aid of the charity.
Some of the store’s teams even put their baking skills to the test, holding a bake sale, with buns, cakes and sweet treats for their shoppers and local community.

Stores involved in the fundraising were SPAR Mallusk, SPAR Manse Road, SPAR Whiteabbey, SPAR Carnmoney Hill, SPAR Abbots Cross, SPAR Jordanstown and SPAR Kings Crescent in Newtownabbey; SPAR Ballyclare; SPAR Kilwaughter and SPAR Viking Lodge in Larne, and SPAR Castle Street and SPAR Moyle Road in Ballycastle.
