EUROSPAR Elf on the Shelf returns for 2018
EUROSPAR shoppers are in for a surprise this December as stores across Northern Ireland are inundated with some of Santa’s little helpers.
Santa will be sending out his elves, to participating EUROSPAR stores meaning children will have to be on their best behaviour when out and about; as these elves will be sending daily scout reports back to the North Pole!
But the mischievous elves won’t always be in plain view.
Children will have to look all over EUROSPAR stores to spot the elf as it hides out in a different spot every day. Once the elf on the shop shelf has been spotted, shoppers can post pictures on the EUROSPAR NI Facebook page or fill in a competition form in store to be in with a chance of winning a prize for their efforts.
One lucky shopper will get their hands on £2,000 worth of travel vouchers for a winter getaway while two runners up will each win a children’s bike. With no limit on the number of entries, shoppers can boost their chances of winning, by returning to a participating EUROSPAR store every day.
Conor Toland, Retail Marketing Manager from the Henderson Group, which owns the EUROSPAR brand in Northern Ireland, said the idea was successfully trialled in Kilkeel in 2017 before it was decided to roll out across the whole network.
“The scout elves have become increasingly popular with families and social media users in recent years so we wanted to bring this fun concept out of children’s homes in the run up to Christmas and create something engaging for them in our stores.
The elves have a reputation for being quite mischievous so we’re looking forward to seeing what they get up to in our stores and we hope children enjoy spotting them.”
The competition will start in store and on social media week commencing 26th November. For a full list of terms and conditions, visit www.facebook.com/EUROSPARNI/notes
